29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about 8/16/18 Location: On the roof of 8 Hall Ave Larchmont NY 10538 Employees were working on the back right side of the roof while using the ladder on the front of the roof as an access. The ladder extended approximately 2 ft. The Franzoso Contracting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1104672, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/23/16, with respect to a workplace located at 25 Barker Street Unit 312/313 Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
