The employer failed to provide documentation demonstrating the abatement methods and completion as cited in Citation 1 Item 1 for hazards associated with lack of training on fall hazards and fall protection while employees were performing roofing activities.  b.  The employer failed to provide documentation demonstrating the abatement methods and completion as cited in Citation 2 Item 1 for hazards associated with falls while employees were performing roofing activities.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  On or about August 17, 2018, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 21 feet while performing roofing activities on a new residential home located on S/L 279 Hooper Drive, Medina, Ohio 44256.  The employees were working on all areas of the roof without using any form of fall protection. The employer did not train employees on how to recognize fall hazards and means of fall protection.
