29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a). At the worksite - On or about August 14, 2018, an employee operated a Porter-Cable pneumatic nail gun without the use of eye protection, thus exposing the employee to a struck-by hazard. Spivey's Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 973800, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 27, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 112 Southern Oaks Lane, Saint Simons Island, GA 31522.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b). a). At the worksite - On or about August 14, 2018, employees worked from the joists and top plates of a residential structure without the use of a fall protection system, thus exposing the employees to a fall hazard up to approximately 9.8 feet. Spivey's Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1291025, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 27, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 124 Yacht Club, Saint Simons Island, GA 31522.
