29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:    (a)Consolidated Construction Company at 825 Eglin Street, Rapid City, SD 57003: On or before and at times prior to August 16, 2018, the controlling employer did not ensure that multiple stairways leading from the main floor to the second, third, and fourth floors were equipped with at least one handrail. The stairways A, B, and C within the commercial building under construction had approximately 10 risers to each landing and were not equipped with handrails. This condition exposed employees and subcontractor employees to fall hazards related to the use of the stairways.
