29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedures and employee training to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, start up or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment would be isolated, and rendered inoperative in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4): a) 141 Idaho Ave. Plattsburgh, BFS Machine 153- On or about 8/7/2018 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the energy control procedures protected employees from hazardous energy sources while entering the BFS 153 machine with tools to make adjustments to the machine exposing them to amputation and crushing hazards.
