29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. Note to paragraph (g)(1): The fall protection requirements for employees installing suspension scaffold support systems on floors, roofs, and other elevated surfaces are set forth in subpart M of this part. On or about August 21, 2018 at the 401 4th St., Mosinee, WI jobsite; frame and glass installation from a scaffold erected three sections high did not have a form of fall protection installed exposing employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.452(w)(1): Scaffolds shall be braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or combination thereof, to prevent racking or collapse of the scaffold and to secure vertical members together laterally so as to automatically square and align the vertical members. Scaffolds shall be plumb, level, and squared. All brace connections shall be secured. On or about August 21, 2018 at the 401 4th St., Mosinee, WI jobsite; the red frame mobile scaffold did not have bracing to prevent racking or collapse exposing employees to fall hazards.
