29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. (a) Parking lot - On or about August 22, 2018 an employee was exposed to a flying object hazard while cutting rebar with a saw. This employee was not wearing eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. (a) Construction site - On or about August 22, 2018 the employer did not train each employee exposed to various hazards associated with construction on how to recognize and minimize these hazards. The employer did not provide training to help employees avoid unnecessary injuries on this construction site.
