OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by/ crushing hazard. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling limestone slabs. On or about August 28,2018 in the cutting area, an employee was struck-by a falling limestone slab while supporting the lime stone slab by hand. The employee was in the "fall shadow" of a limestone slab when it was not properly supported and guarded.
