Employees engaged in dismantling of vehicles, including but not limited to the removal of drained fuel tanks using a Sawzall and other tools, were exposed to fire hazards when sparks produced by cutting actions ignited flammable vapors.

29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been  taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s):  a) 475 Old Airport Road, New Castle, Delaware - On or about August 28, 2018, the employer failed to ensure that vehicles in need of repair were not removed from service. A Hyster LP Gas sit-down powered industrial truck was found to have heavy damage to the tires, affecting handling of the forklift.  Also found was frayed braided running lines that could affect the lifting capacity.
