29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Basement area - 51 West Stevens Street, Gettysburg, PA: Workbench electrical outlets were supplied by temporary electrical power by means of an extension cord. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date, and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: Basement area - 51 West Stevens Street, Gettysburg, PA: The outer jacket of an extension cord supplying power from a workbench outlet to a dehumidifier was pulled away at the male plug connection exposing the inner energized conductors to damage. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date, and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
