29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): On or about 08/28/2018 Awning Window & Siding (the general contractor) and his sub-contractor, at 301 Trapani Drive, St. Peters, MO, exposed 2 workers to a fall hazard. The general contractor or controlling employer did not conduct an adequate inspection of the job site, materials, and equipment. Employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. There was no type of fall protection available at the site.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 08/28/2018 Awning Window & Siding (the general contractor) and his sub-contractor, at 301 Trapani Drive, St. Peters, MO, exposed 2 workers to a fall hazard. Employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. There was no type of fall protection available at the site. The workers were exposed to a fall to the ground below of approximately 12 feet and approximately 16 feet.
