Except as provided elsewhere in this section or by other subparts of this part, the employer must ensure each employee on a walking-working surface 4 feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by: (i) Guardrail systems; (ii) Safety net systems; or (iii) Personal fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems: a) West row of greenhouses, west side of main corridor, on or about the weeks of 8-13-18 and 8-20-18: Three employees were working on greenhouse roof structures without fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet. b) West row of greenhouses, west side of main corridor, on or about the weeks of 8-13-18 and 8-20-18: Three employees were working on the plastic surfaces of greenhouse roofs without fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet.
