29 CFR 1926.552(a)(4): Hoisting ropes were not installed in accordance with the wire rope manufactures specifications. On or about August 14, 2018: a) At the jobsite located at 160 Putters Drive in Athens, GA; where the employer failed to ensure the material hoist had the proper type rope installed where the prescribed wire type rope was replaced with a nylon "climbing" rope used to lift materials to the roof area exposing workers below to potential failure if the rope were to break or the knot loosen.
