29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operators and other employees from hazard(s) created by ingoing nip points and rotating parts: On or about August 17, 2018, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide guards for the following lathe machines: 1) LeBlond lathe machine located in the tool room which exposed employees to the hazard of being struck by the jaws of the chuck. 2) LTH10 lathe machine located in the machine shop which exposed employees to the hazard of being struck by the jaws of the chuck.
