29 CFR 1926.152(f)(3): Flammable liquids were used where there were open flames or other sources of ignition within 50 feet of the operation: Note: Certain conditions warrant that flammable liquids be used farther than 50 feet from open flames or other sources of ignition. (a) Jobsite, 4302 McKee Drive, Whitehall, PA: On or about September 6, 2018 a mixture of acetone and Hydra-Stone powder, both flammable, was being sprayed in a basement area without adequate ventilation and without all ignition sources being controlled. Employees were burned when the vapors from the spraying operation ignited and a flash-over occurred.
