OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  At the worksite located near the intersection of Temple Road and Stone Road at Big Cedar Lodge Resort in Ridgedale, Missouri:  Employee performing grounds maintenance tasks was exposed to struck-by injuries in that employees were allowed to work in the area where Stihl brand model FS 130 R Professional Trimmer was being operated.      AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO: (1) Follow the Operator's Manual for the Stihl brand model FS 130 R Professional Trimmer Page 9,  in order to reduce the risk of personal or even fatal injury to bystanders from falling objects or inadvertent contact with the moving chain of your power tool always keep bystanders a least 50 feet (15 m) away when the power tool is running. (2) Ensure employees are trained on the safe use of operating the Stihl brand model FS 130 R Professional Trimmer and requirements in the Operator's Manual.
