29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 225 Lincoln Ave, Haverhill, MA On or about September 4, 2018, employees were not effectively trained in the hazards associated with gas powered saws when cutting concrete curbs. An employee was struck by a gas-powered saw that kicked back onto the employee. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements
