29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.     On or about September 4, 2018, during the installation of siding material at the job site located at 1526 Marlowe Ave, Akron, Ohio 44313; the employer did not ensure employees utilizing air driven nail guns were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing siding material.

On or about September 4, 2018, during the installation of siding material at a job site located at 1526 Marlowe Ave, Akron, Ohio 44313; the employer did not ensure employees working on a ladder jack scaffolds were protected from a fall of approximately 17.2 feet by utilizing a fall protection system or by providing fall protection training or fall hazard recognition.
