29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA: (a) The Beistle Company, located at 1 Beistle Plaza Shippensburg, Pennsylvania - An employee suffered a right femur fracture, on September 7, 2018 resulting in hospitalization, on September 8, 2018 as a result of file cabinets falling on the employee. The employer failed to report this work-related hospitalization to OSHA within 24 hours. (The employer reported this hospitalization to OSHA on September 10, 2018.) No abatement certification or documentation required.
