29 CFR 1910.213(g)(4): Inverted swing cutoff saw(s) were not provided with a hood which covered the part of the saw that protruded above the top of the table or above the material being cut and automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of, and remain; On or about August 17, 2018 the employer failed to ensure that the assembly wood reclaiming cutoff saw (whirlwind 16") was effectively guarded to protect employees from the pneumatic clamp down as well as the blade itself. The machine was operated and actuated by foot pedal allowing he employees' hands to enter the hazardous area during operation.
