29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer must provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces. On or about July 17, 2018 located in the warehouse area at the elevated office being constructed the employer did not provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces in that, an employee climbed the forklift body/frame and elevated mast to remove a desk from the forks of a forklift without fall protection and was exposed to a fall potential in excess of 8 feet.
