29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  a). On or about , for employees working in the Chemical room. Employees were working on a new development process which introduced new hazards into their work area. The employer did not provide training prior to employees working on the new development process that involved etching aluminum cupper parts in a 60-71% Nitric Acid bath. The process created a plume in the Clean room where employees working experienced respiratory burns.
