29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. a. On or about September 19, 2018, at the above referenced inspection site, employees working on the ground under the material handling area, were not wearing protective helmets when overhead hazards were present. Employees were thereby exposed to head injuries from falling/flying debris. There is no abatement certification of documentation required for this item.
