29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about September 19, 2018, an employee working from a commercial rooftop installing material such as but not limited to metal coping at a height greater than six feet was doing so without fall protection. Architectural Metals LLC was previously cited for a violation of this or its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 980713, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, Issued on 06/25/2014, and was affirmed final order on 07/08/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 6602 Dominion Drive, Madison, WI 53718.
