29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. 1210 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ - Ash Brook Golf Course The employer did not ensure employees and sub-contractor employees were protected from falls from open sided edges greater than 6 feet. The employer did not secure wire rope cables used as a guardrail in a manner that would prevent falls. Violation observed on or about September 19, 2018
