29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.    a) Worksite, 12 Lynx Lane, East Setauket, NY  - Employees were using nail guns on roof without eye protection; on or about 9/19/18.    Note:   The employer is required to provide abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a) Worksite, 12 Lynx Lane, East Setauket, NY:  Employees working on pitch roof approximately 16 ft. above ground did not have fall protection; on or about 9/19/18.      Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this violation in accordance with 29 CFR 1909.13.
