Dupont Highway (Applebee's), Milford, DE - On or about September 20, 2018, the employer failed to ensure the portable ladder being used by employees to gain access to the roof was used at an angle such that the distance from top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter (2.5 feet) of the 10 foot working length of the ladder. The horizontal distance from the foot of the ladder was approximately 4.5 feet to the vertical top support.
