29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position: On or about September 21, 2018 an employee performing steel erection activities and welding was exposed to a fall hazard up to 40 feet as the employee climbed and was standing on the rails of the aerial lift. INDUSTRIAL STEEL ERECTORS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1171034, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2504 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI 63501.
