29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer shall ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator pass an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT) as stated in this paragraph.  Boatyard:  An employee is required to don a 3M full-face, tight-fitting respirator (MD. 689913) to protect against health hazards associated with organic vapors from marine paints and epoxies, and dust generated when grinding, sanding or working with fiberglass.  Fit testing has not been conducted.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:                        Boatyard:  The written hazard communication program did not reflect the 2013 standard revisions to include an explanation of the Global Harmonization System or a description of the pictogram system and labeling for employees who use hazardous chemicals such as marine paints, thinners, and fiberglass.  Employees were exposed to chemical hazards.
