29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  At the jobsite located at 7681 W. 151st St. Overland Park, KS 66223: Employee engaged in observing, inspecting, and checking on the fastening exterior tile quality work activities was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the edge of the working platform to the cement below in that fall protection was not used. Employee was observed walking, checking, talking to the contractors on the elevated work-platform without fall protection, guardrail systems.   29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.
