29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Exterior, West side of Building 1, adjacent to Haddonfield Rd: Two employees without any means of fall protection approximately 20 feet above the next lower level, were installing railing around the approximate 2 foot deep x 6 foot wide bedroom balcony, on or about 09/26/2018; b) Exterior, South side of Building 1: One employee without any means of fall protection approximately 20 feet above the next lower level, was preparing for installation of railing around the approximate 5 foot deep x 11 foot wide bedroom balcony, on or about 09/26/2018. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
