Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(M): The employer did not review the operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the operator's manual for the types of vehicle that the employee is being trained to operate: 2700 Yetter Court - The employer did not review the operator's manual for the Crown 4500 series Walkie Rider pallet jacks to recognize that that the machines were not equipped with the optional quick coast feature which allows operators to walk next to the machine while picking orders. Therefore the employer did not train employees to operate these machines only while standing on the operator's platform, riding the machine. Employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards when they walked next to the machines which were not designed to be operated in that manner, on or about September 27, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
