29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On September 25, 2018, at a Strip Mall located at 3552 SW Market St - Lee Summit, MO., employees engaged in Painting and Repair Activities near the business sign were exposed to fall hazards up to approx. 12 feet above the ground, in that there was no Fall Protection Equipment or Fall Protection System in use.
