29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On or about September 27, 2018 at 8211 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia, three (3) employees were seen working more than six (6) feet above the lower level without a means of preventing them from falling to the lower level.  a. one employee was taking measurements on the stud wall at the perimeter of the building without any type of fall protection.  b. two employees were installing a 4x8 foot section of sheathing on the outside of the building.  Neither of the employees working at the edge were wearing any type of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access.  On or about September 27, 2018 at 8211 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia, six(6) employees participating in the construction of a townhouse project were exposed to a fall to the lower level when the ladder they used did not extend three (3) feet above the working level for safe access/egress.
