29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(vii): Where relocation of combustible was impracticable, cutting or welding was permitted when combustibles were not protected with flameproofed covers or otherwise shielded with metal, asbestos guards, or curtains: At 19111 W. State Highway 8, Potosi, Missouri, specifically inside of the Maintenance Shop, welding, through the use of a Thermal Dynamics Plasma Cutter, m/n 82, was permitted to occur adjacent to combustible materials such as cardboard, plastic containers of hydraulic fluid and oil, and rubber items. The combustible materials were not covered while this hot work occurred. This violation was noted on 10/02/18.
