29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Monument Homebuilders Inc. dba Tru-Grit NOCO, LLC. located at 3660 W 25th Street, Greeley, CO 80634: On and preceding 1 October, 2018, the controlling employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Employees of a framing sub-contractor were framing the subfloor of the second floor without the use of fall protection, in plain view of the superintendent. Fall hazards included perimeter fall hazards and stairway holes. This condition exposed subcontractor employees performing framing to fall hazards of up to 20 feet.
