Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about October 1, 2018, at the construction site located at 733 Salisbury Street, Pickerington, Ohio, employees were performing framing work on a roof of a two story residential home with a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and approximately 20 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
