29 CFR 1926.1101(d)(5): As supervisor of the entire project, the general contractor did not ascertain whether the asbestos contractor was in compliance with the asbestos standard, and did not require such contractor to come into compliance with this standard:    On or before October 2, 2018, where contractors onsite were working with and around materials including but not limited to 10.59 percent asbestos containing floor tile, the employer had not ensured that the presence or absence of asbestos was first determined and appropriate precautions were taken by contractors including, but not limited to use of HEPA vacuum cleaners.
