29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a)Cornerstone Builders & Real Estate, Inc. @ 6601 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106: On or about and at times prior to October 3, 2016, the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontractor employees involved in re-roofing activities on the Regency Place Apartments, working on a 4 in 12 pitched roof, were protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. The condition exposed employee to a 8-foot and 18-foot fall hazards.
