OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that, employees were exposed to fall hazards from an open guardrail gate of the aerial lift: On or about 10/03/2018 at the Gables at Salmon Brook project, an employee was working from an aerial lift with the guardrail gate open. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement to correct this hazard is to close and keep close the guardrail gate.
