29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(viii): Portable fire extinguishers were not inspected periodically and maintained in accordance with maintenance and use of portable fire extinguishers, N.F.P.A. No. 10A-1970. Location: Construction lot on the end of west end of Beekman Ave; Pedestrian structure over the tracks in the Northeast corner. On or about October 3rd, 2018 employees were using a gas powdered demo saw to remove any miscellaneous excess weight in the structure. Employees also had access to a fire extinguisher that was located on the bucket floor of the boom lift. Instance a - Fire extinguisher was located on the bucket floor of the boomlift subjected to dislodgement due to no strap-type brackets. Not in accordance with N.F.P.A. No. 10A-1970 6.1.3.6. Instance b - Fire extinguisher did not have any tags or labels attached that indicate that maintenance was performed. Not in accordance with N.F.P.A. No. 10A-1970 7.3.4.1.
