29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: The physical and health hazard training of silica was not provided to employees potentially exposed when conducting work, such as cleaning and sweeping, and cleaning the baghouse. (Note: Training may be supplemented by review of the safety data sheets (SDS) on silica containing products. Silica presence in cement, according to the SDS, was less than 0.1%. Although flyash was not used at the time of the inspection, silica content was up to 10%.) Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
