29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  a) At 3150 Airport Blvd Mobile, Al (Far North Side: Back Wall Area): On or about October 04, 2018, and at times prior; the employer allowed and required employee(s) to remove, trim and install windows without fall protection at and near window openings whose frames were removed that had an inside bottom edge of approximately thirty (30) inches above the walking/working surface; exposing employee(s) to fall  hazards of approximately seventeen (17) feet to the concrete ground below.
