On the east side of the construction site, employees engaged in framing activities utilized an extension cord that was missing the ground pin to operate Makita skill saw exposing them to electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On the east side of the construction site, employees engaged in framing activities utilized an extension cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away exposing the internal wiring were exposed to electrical shock hazards. Joel Sanchez-Martinez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.405(g)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 976784, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirm as a final order on July 14, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1317 Real Oaks Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76131.
