On or about 10/3/2018, on the flat roof leading to the pitched roof area located at 1350 Walton Way, Augusta, GA: Employees accessing, egressing, walking, inspecting, loading and unloading material and equipment on the unprotected sides of the flat roof surface area, were not protected from a fall hazard from heights up to about 12 feet 6 inches from ground level. The employer failed to protect the employees from falling from the unprotected side by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
