29 CFR 1910.178(n)(1): All traffic regulations shall be observed, including authorized plant speed limits. A safe distance shall be maintained approximately three truck lengths from the truck ahead, and the truck shall be kept under control at all times. On October 5, 2018 employees and vendors were exposed to a struck-by hazard, in that a powered industrial truck was not kept under control at all times striking a pedestrian who was on the floor providing an employee an item from the snack bar.

29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6): The driver shall be required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel. On October 5, 2018 employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard, in that a PIV operator did not look in the direction of travel and struck a food vendor.
