OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while servicing a single piece rim wheel:  a) Jobsite - On or about October 5, 2018, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when they sprayed a flammable aerosol (2 + 2 Brake Cleaner) into a tire and lit the product on fire, creating an explosion to seat the bead of a 14- 17.5 NHS/14 PR backhoe/loader tire.    b) Jobsite - Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when they inflated the demounted tire without the use of a restraining device or barrier   c) Jobsite - Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when they stood over the tire as they inflated it, within the trajectory of the tire.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
