No other retaining devices were observed.

29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that are 4 feet (1.22 m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62 m) of lateral travel for employees: On or about 10/4/2018, Location: Excavation between new Sunshine Inn Hotel and the road located at 9121 Southern Blv., Royal Palm Beach, FL; 1) An employee was exposed to cave-in hazards while working inside an excavation which depth was 4ft to 5ft and length more than 25ft not provided with a safe mean of egress. 1st Repeat: BCM Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.651(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1246913, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/29/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1919 Se 10th Ave Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.
