29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc. located at 10300 Industrial Road in Holland, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2018 the employer did not ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead in that lead contamination was found at 25.81 micrograms per one hundred centimeters squared on the surface of a table located in the cafeteria. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead through ingestion. b) Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc. located at 10300 Industrial Road in Holland, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2018 the employer did not ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead in that lead contamination was found at 6.21 micrograms per one hundred centimeters squared on the back of a chair located at a table in the cafeteria. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead through ingestion. c) Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc. located at 10300 Industrial Road in Holland, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2018 the employer did not ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead in that lead contamination was found at 7.04 micrograms per one hundred centimeters squared on the microwave shelf located in the cafeteria. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead through ingestion. d) Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc. located at 10300 Industrial Road in Holland, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2018 the employer did not ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead in that lead contamination was found at 37.99 micrograms per one hundred centimeters squared on the food storage shelves located in the cafeteria. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead through ingestion. e) Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc. located at 10300 Industrial Road in Holland, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2018 the employer did not ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead in that lead contamination was found at 179.4 micrograms on the button of the coffee vending machine located in the cafeteria. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead through ingestion.
