29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Walking-working surfaces were not inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition. On or about 10/11/2018, employees from Jack Cooper Transport loaded vehicles on trailers in loading areas that were not maintained in a safe condition. The following loading areas had potholes that needed repair: a) Loading area near Gate # 5 at a nearby automotive manufacturing plant: The loading area is a concrete surface that has multiple potholes. b) Gravel parking lot/loading area behind the main building at Jack Cooper Transport: The gravel lot had multiple potholes.
